Making a casserole using chicken breast recipes is one of the best dishes to take with you for a potluck meal. It only takes minutes to prepare and you can go about your regular work while the casserole is cooking in the oven. When preparing chicken breast recipes, make sure that you have the chicken fully thawed before you start preparing the recipe.

Ingredients:
4 pounds of chicken breast
1/3 cup of onion finely chopped
½ cup of green pepper finely chopped
2 cups of mushrooms, either fresh or canned
2 cans of tomatoes, 19 oz. Each
1 can of mushroom gravy
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 325°
Season flour with salt and pepper and place it in a plastic bag. Place each chicken breast into the bag one at a time and shake the bag until the breast is fully coated. You may have to replenish the flour a few times to coat all the pieces. Brown the floured chicken in hot oil, turning it over to make sure all sides are nicely browned. Remove the chicken from the frying pan and pour off some of the oil. Place the chicken breasts in a casserole or baking dish.
Use the remaining oil to sauté the onion, green pepper and mushrooms. If you use canned mushrooms, make sure they are well drained first. Saute the vegetables until they are te.nder and then add in the tomatoes and gravy.
Pour the mixture over the chicken and place a cover on the dish. Bake it in the oven for 2 hours.
This is one of the easiest chicken breast recipes to use if you want to have 6-8 servings.
