Chicken Breast Recipes for Gourmet Food

The ingredients you will need if you want to try this recipe are:

6 whole chicken breasts, skinned and deboned

1 package of Swiss cheese slices – 8 oz. Package

6 oz of sliced cooked ham

3 tbsp flour

1 tsp paprika

1 tbsp butter

1 cup of water

1 chicken flavoured bouillon cube

1 cup of heavy whipping cream

1 tbsp cornstarch

Directions:

Divide the sliced ham and the cheese slices into 6 portions. On a clean, dry surface, spread the chicken breasts apart and fill with the cheese slices and ham. Fold the breasts over and use toothpicks to hold them in place.

Mix the flour and paprika and coat each chicken breast with this mixture, making sure you coat both sides.

Heat the butter in a large skillet and brown the chicken on all sides. Combine the water and bouillon cube and add to the skillet, bringing it to a boil. Reduce the heat to low, cover the skillet and let simmer for 30 minutes.

Remove the chicken from the skillet when it is done and remove the toothpicks.

Combine the cream and the cornstarch and gradually add this mixture to the drippings that remain in the skillet. Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring constantly until you have a thick sauce.

Serve the sauce with the chicken as some people who taste this recipe prefer the chicken without the sauce.
